I'm Iisa Nuorttila, nice to meet you!
I’m an illustrator and art entrepreneur from Helsinki, Finland. My illustrations typically feature vibrant floral designs and joyful children's themes, which I create both by hand using gouache or digitally. I find immense inspiration in bright colors, nature, the changing seasons—especially early summer— and from my dear twin toddlers. I’ve worked with many international brands and companies, and my illustrations can be seen in variety of paper products and prints all around the world.
I have studied layout design and art pedagogy and after graduation 2018 I have worked as a full-time illustrator and also founded a popular art workshop studio Paints and Friends in Helsinki, where I organize popular painting workshops with different painting themes.
I love teaching and interacting with students, yet design and illustration are my biggest passion. I'm happiest around my paint brushes and in creative mood. I paint all my works by hand, using high-quality gouache colors and papers, so all my works are made with heart and are surely unique pieces. Recently I've started creating digital illustrations too.
